  A friend trying to follow my blog was prompted for his email and wordpress password which he does not have.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  It sounds like he clicked on the WordPress.com follow button instead of the email subscription. This follow button on your site only works for WordPress.com users:

  

  However, anyone who does not have an account can subscribe to your blog via the Follow blog popup in the bottom right corner:

  https://cloudup.com/cVBiwM8eAnJ

  Let me know if your friend continues to have trouble with this!
