New follower with odd address

  A new follower with the (email visible only to moderators and staff) has appeared on my list of followers. As I did not receive an email from WordPress notifying me (which I always do )I wondered if this follower had somehow bypassed wordpress` security system. And what should I do?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Bernadette,

  They didn’t bypass WordPress.com’s security system. More likely with the odd address the notification e-mail was caught in a spam filter.

  There’s no security risk in having this follower.

  Maybe his ears were burning and he/she unsubscribed! :-)
