New format

  The new format is driving me crazy. Blocks mess with the font size. Some already have sample text that I can’t get rid of. While trying to copy and paste a blog, I wound up losing a week’s work. I want to go back to the old format.

  Hi there,

  The Classic Editor is still available in WP Admin.
  https://wordpress.com/support/editors/#classic-editor
  If you can’t find this, please ask the WordPress staff to change your site to have the classic editor as the default.
  There is a block called ‘Classic Block’ (you can find it by searching in the insert block search bar, or under the Formatting heading) which works in a similar way to the Classic Editor. You can find out more about this block here:

  Blocks mess with the font size.

  There should be an option to change the font size if you open the Block Settings, and under Typography. Please share more details if this isn’t working for you.

  Which blocks do you mean? Do you mean on a sample post? You should be able to delete the text on those posts. Please share more details about this.

  Do you mean you tried to copy a page/post and ended up deleting it or reverting it to draft? Check on My Site(s) > Pages/Posts > Drafts/Binned to find them. Click on the Publish button on the top right hand corner on the editor to publish drafts. You can also restore deleted pages/posts by clicking on the three dots and ‘restore’.
  Or do you mean that you lost formatting when you pasted onto the editor? There have been suggestions for a block that allows you to paste but doesn’t change formatting on the Feedback Thread for the Block Editor.
