New GA4 tag

    I read the article about adding the new tag to my website. I went to tools and traffic. But it will only let me add through JetPack, which it wants me to pay for. There is nowhere for me to add this.

    Hey there, the Tools and Traffic page is specific to Jetpack, which includes a bunch of handy features in addition to that. If you don’t want to pay for that service, I’m sure there are other ways to add the tag, too. I’d recommend searching the plugins repository.

    Going forward, these forums are primarily for sites that use our free-tier hosting. We’re a little different from the WordPress software itself. This article explains some of the differences.

    You’ll want to create an account at WordPress.org so you’ll have access to the correct community for your site. Or, you’d be welcome to host here; your plan would get direct support.
