Hello Zandy :-) Thanks for your interest :-)
Please take a look at http://www.tomek.cedro.info at the post “809 Hello ER6-N Moto” as example – there is a photo with hardcoded part “http://www.tomek.cedro.info”, now when you enter this website like this https://www.tomek.cedro.info there will be a security warning that not all content is secure (so whole site is not secure) – this is because the image use http instead https…
From my experience if we want to link image:
it is sufficient to pass this href field:
/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Kawasaki_ER6N_st3pz-433×325.jpg
This way, we get idependent of both domain and transport :-)
Best regards :-)

Hi there,
The site you’re working on is a WordPress.org site, and this is support for WordPress.com :)
I took a look at WordPress.org, and I found this plugin:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/wordpress-https/I’m not sure if it would help you or not, but it may be a place to start!
If you feel this is a bug, you are more than welcome to suggest a core bug over on WordPress.org.
Cheers!

Thanks Zandy :-) I have found some filters and configuration tricks over there, but I think putting the transport independent local URL in the core would be the simplest solution :-)
-
The core comes FROM WordPress.org, though! :)
It’s a good suggestion, and worth suggesting over there.

Thanks for your support! I see I should contact wp.org in future :-) However official wordpress.org has this issue haha, and they dont use https for sites where you need to enter credentials :D :D :D -
