New Gray Dashboard Bar

  What’s going on with WordPress? First, the dashboard is “improved”, then we get “related posts” without asking for them, and now we have a new gray bar at the top of our posts? Because of this, I have to change my header photo. Can we get the original dark blue bar back?

  Hmm, the gray bar looks alright. But dull, but the attention would be more focused on the blog rather than the blog, and you’ll probably want that. Wouldn’t you rather have people looking at your blog rather than pressing the next blog button?

  Exactly. Most people looking at your blog SHOULD not be just other people with an account on wordpress.com and visiting your site while they are logged in theirs, I should imagine. Or do you know that they are? Are you aware than it is only those people ( ie other wordpress.com users logged in) who see this bar and not the other visitors? So the admin bar colour really doesnt matter I should say…

  @marahm, I shouldn’t think there’s any chance the blue bar will be coming back. Sorry. But as sunnisme points out, only wp.com users who are logged in can see it anyway.
