New header won’t upload

Here are some basic rules while creating and uploading an image to wordpress.com:
- Be sure your image is one of these file types – jpg, jpeg, png, gif (Note that bmp’s cannot be uploaded due to size).
- Do not use anything in the file name except letters and numbers. Use no spaces, no dashes, no underscores, or any type of special character or punctuation, except for the dot between the file name and the extension. Also, make sure that the file name has an extension.
- If you are using iPhoto, then use the “export” function under the file menu to export the image to your desktop before trying to upload it to WordPress.
- Optimize your images so that your blog pages will load faster. See http://faq.wordpress.com/2006/05/08/optimise-your-images/

This might be a bug if the problem still not solved. I have also tried to replicate the issue using “hemingway-rewritten” theme. I found there some issues.
1). I have selected a image from default image given from customize->Header Image. Selected an image, updated it and it was working fine showing on my website. But after that, when I remove image from header image section by clicking “hide Image” screenshot I found the image still in my site. screenshot Somehow, after 3-5 munites the image automatically removes. This issue occurs after clearing the cache also.2). If I set featured image for the homepage it also appears at header image. But its not buggy and as soon as I remove it it goes away.
I found this issue on both Firefox and Chrome.
However, I am tagging this thread for staff attention.

Can you tell me the file name of the intended header image please?
