New Here and trying to see my published post

    Hi I just joined up a couple of days ago and I have written my first post to my blog – well it says I have but I can’t see it! I think this is because I haven’t got a blog page as such, I just thought it would show up on my homepage. I will do some of the webinars but just want to get the blogging sorted and then get to the extras. I like to think I used to be quite good at this stuff but nope I’m just lost LOL

    Hi there,

    Don’t worry at all, it’s common to feel a bit overwhelmed when starting with something new, even if you’ve had experience in the past. The great news is, I’m here to help.

    If you’d like your latest blog posts to appear directly on your homepage, it’s a pretty simple tweak. Go to your WordPress.com dashboard and navigate to Appearance > Customize. From there, select Homepage Settings. Finally, select the option “Your latest posts”. This way, every time you publish a new post, it will automatically show up on your homepage.

    If you’d like to have a dedicated blog page that lists all your posts, there’s a handy guide right here: https://wordpress.com/support/create-a-separate-page-for-blog-posts/. Once set up, this page will automatically populate with every new blog post you publish.
