New Here – Could Someone Advise Please

I am thinking of buying the premium version of WordPress. I don’t know if I have been misinformed, but is Premium the best way to have a good professional looking site without having to know much HTML? I obviously want my site to be as lucrative as possible, and need to know that someone will help me if I get stuck with building my pages. i.e email or live support.
I have spent an age on deciding to use WordPress. I can’t afford to waste money, and need to know from the start whether I am making the right choice to use premium. Does this include a domain name and hosting also, or do I get the hosting separately, and if so, at what point – before I sign up for a premium account?
Any advice you can give me will be gratefully appreciated. Thanks. -
Do not make any purchases until you’ve been playing with the blog about a month. Then you’ll know what you really need.
When you say you want the site to be “lucrative” how exactly do you expect to make money with it? We have to ask, because not everything is possible here.

Hi and thanks. I mean I want to be able to use Amazon associates, Google Adsense and the like. Would you advise me to get a self hosted WordPress first , and then see if I like it, and can upgrade later? My problem is that I have a very limited idea about HTML.
