New images don't show

  I am trying to add a new image into a post. Not only is it showing as a blank image in my media library, it simply is a blank on the post. When I look at the code it has numbers that don’t belong. I delete them, save post and still the image is blank. When I go into media library and click on the blank image and then click on edit, then I can see the image. These images I uploaded are all under 400k thus size is not the issue.
  I have read through other forums discussions and none of them are having the same problem as I am.

  Really!!!! No-one can assist me.!!
  Every time I add a new image to my media library the image is blank.!! AND it comes with additional numbers that I did not add to the name of the image. What’s up with that. Every time I delete the extra numbers in “text” view, they revert back again.!!!!
  HELP!!!!

  I have seen at least one poster with a similar problem who tried a different browser and was able to add images. They switched to Firefox. Try that as an interim while we get someone to help you out.

  It so happens I am using Firefox.
  One thing I have not tried is to see if the template I am using has size preferences (width and breadth) on the images. I did not spot any but it’s worth a try.

  @durbanspa to confirm, are you currently having that trouble with Firefox?

  If you do a force refresh does it help? That is to open the browser to WordPress.com and press CTRL+F5 in Windows or Cmd + R in Mac.
