New Insert Link Drop Down Menu SUCKS

    Why would wordpress take a feature that works perfectly fine (the way a link is inserted into a blog post) and change it to a LESS user friendly method? Before the latest update you could easily see the previous posts and choose from them or search a specific word, there were options. Now it looks so archaic … like going back to aol! HATE it. I don’t even want to work on my blog at all right now, it’s so frustrating and backwards to do it this way. All I can say is I hope they change it back to the way it was before when it was USER FRIENDLY… the font was bigger the window was bigger, everything was better, WHY????? why make it smaller and harder to use? Please tell me there is a way to go back? Anyone???

    Not to mention that even if you do a word search, the top few results are blocked by the stupid dropdown window?? this is the worst thing I have seen wordpress do so far. Absolutely AWFUL

    Oh dear god. I thought it was just me!

    Please, please, please change it back. CTRL+K opens a pointless mini dialogue which isn’t even in focus (and which hangs around even after it’s finished with, obscuring the text I’m trying to edit).

    Then you have to click the cog. Which opens the modal we had in the first place (the useful one), but it isn’t in focus, so you end up typing over the text you wanted to make into a link.

    Argh!
