New interface problems

  I am having terrible trouble finding my way round this new look page on my blog. I have not changed appearance or theme or anything but after years of no trouble interaction now I am really struggling. I cannot even get to or find my dashboard. Help please. I want to get to appearance and thence to widgets but am getting nowhere.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there,

  I’m sorry for the trouble! If you’re on your My Sites page, you can click the “Customize” link to open your blog’s Customizer. The Customizer includes a section for managing your blog’s widgets.

  If you’d prefer to manage the widgets from your site’s classic dashboard, you can click on the “WP Admin” link on the My Sites page to get to that dashboard. From there, you can go to Appearance > Widgets to get to the widgets page.

  Thank you very much, that is most helpful and has opened up a whole raft of possibilities. But one last thing, how can I get my blog page back to ‘Classic’ permanently?

  Hm, I’m not sure what you mean by getting your blog page back to Classic. You can always access that classic dashboard using the WP Admin link I mentioned or using this direct link:

  http://sweffling.wordpress.com/wp-admin/

  Is there a specific change you’re looking for aside from getting to that dashboard?
