New kind of spam appearing
-
I found the guy who was doing it, contacted him about it, and got him to stop.
He’s a computer science student at a university in India.
I was going to be really snarky at first and post up his name, photo, address, professor’s name, etc but he decided to stop on his own after I told him that what’s he’s doing doesn’t even work.
What I don’t get is that he’s a blogger himself. How could he have thought this was a good idea?

I think he just posted about a million times that he was sorry. I deleted the posts as spam of course.

I have been getting these strange ones today … reporting as spam. Here is one that came in. This time, no link on the user name. The other links went to non-existent webpages.
Get a load of this:# Sorry Says:

s’alright girl we’ve all been there and done that too ;) Today I read over top of urls a blogger supplied and asked him for the urls he was referring to. Why? because they weren’t actually linked and therefore they weren’t coloured so I didn’t see them – when I was looking right at them :o

DrMike: “*shrug* I get email spam with content of “Just testing :)”
My favorite is when I see links in spam email that says ‘COPY YOUR LINK HERE!’
*sigh* “
I just got one that said “Sorry about the spam… I won’t send anymore”.
