Add topic to favorites
the link button is greyed out, and i cant add a new link to the links page.

it seems the link function is totally disabled. is there a reason for this?

Are you trying to create a new link like “projects” and “home” on your home page? If that is the case then you will create a new “page.” Here is more info on Links and Link Categories.

the link button is greyed out, and i cant add a new link to the links page.

The link button will remain grayed out until you run your mouse over the anchor text you want to link to to slect and higlight it. Then you click the link icon on the editor toolbar.

Ok thistime, that worked perfectly in a post, thank you!

And now after I did that, it’s amazingly working in the link section as well.

Not sure I understand how that was related, but as long as it works, I’m happy!

Since I’m using a different page for the home page, is there a way to create a link to the blog on it?

I don’t see a way to do that.

When you create a static front page for a blog you create two pages ie. one for the front page and one for the posts. Then you designate those 2 pages here > Settings > Reading

If you failed to create a page for the posts to display on then you can do that now http://en.support.wordpress.com/pages/
and then go to Settings > Reading and designate it correctly.

I just started on it today. JMS has a different web site, that pretty much sucks big time!

I’ve been working on that one with dreamwever, since it does not requre update.

I want to update our service site regularly, so i figured a blog would work best.

< will be happy to listen to any suggestions.

I will point the dns to it as soon it has taken a decent shape! :P
