New links not showing in blog

  I insert two new links onto an existing blog post, and I click ‘update’, but they never show on my blog. I have cleared my cookies and cache as well as refresh the browser but they never show. When I go back to the ‘text’ view of my post, ‘ ‘ shows where the links should be.

  That’s because you didn’t type any clickable text. You should type, say, “ASMH Summer 2012 Newsletter” in the main edit box, highlight it, then click the Link tool and paste the URL. What you did was paste that text in the Title field instead; but the title of a link isn’t the visible, clickable text, it’s (optional) extra info that shows up when you hover over a link (so you can tell what the link is without having to click it).

  Can you give a specific blog post where this happened so we can see what the problem may be? A simple link should work just fine, however there are some codes that you cannot use on WordPress.com …
