New member wanting to blog
-
I just joined WordPress and I wanted to look around before I started a blog, so I clicked “only username” when I started the account. I’m ready to start a blog now, but I can’t seem to find a place to do that. Do I have to start another account? I’d rather not do that, if I don’t have to.
Thanks,
Mandi -

In response to the automated message above, I don’t have a blog address, and that’s the problem.

@valsjewels did you signup for a blog and username or just a username ? If just a username then use the link above to create a blog.

I’m trying this. At my dashboard in My Account drop down click “support”
1. Sign Up & Activate
Signing up for WordPress.com is quick and easy! Just fill in a few details on the sign up page and then check your email for the activation link and you’ll be ready to start.
2. Edit Title & Tagline
Once your account is activated, go to the Settings page to customize the blog title and tagline.
3. Start Writing!
Login and find the Dashboard for your blog. To create a new post, go to Posts > Add New or to create a new page go to Pages > Add New. To learn about the differences, see the Post vs. Page support page. If you see a “not found” error message on your blog home page, see the 404 Errors support page. -
