New Modified WPTouch Mobile Theme
-
Just took a look at my site with the new mobile theme using my iPod Touch. Very nice, accessible and readable. My only quibble is that although I have the text turn off on my custom header it still shows up superimposed on the header when viewed with the modified WPTouch theme.
I assume this will be fixed in future versions. Other than that, very nicely done! Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m having the same issue. I uploaded an image with my title so I turned off the text for the custom header.
I love how the Mobile Theme show up on my iPhone, but it is also showing my blog title twice: the “hidden” text and the text I saved in my image. I hope you can fix this soon!
Thanks for all the great features on WordPress :)

I just want to echo the comments thus far.
I love how my blog looks with the SPTouch theme on the iPhone. HOWEVER I too have a custom header I would love to turn off the text. The Brave New World website says I should be able to edit the text in my settings… I don’t see anything for WPTouch in my settings. -

my blog is – http://meetthechubs.wordpress.com/
I have the header text hidden in my appearance settings but when I view the page on the iphone the header text covers up the graphic/logo. How do I set the header graphic not to appear on the iphone or how do I hide the header text on the iphone.?

Same here. I found a (bad) workaround by clearing the Blog Title but, of course, then your blog has no title, which defeats the purpose of having a title. Please make the change.

They’re still working on it. From an email I received yesterday …
Michael,
The bug is still on our list. Nothing to report yet.
