New name for the blog

    Hello,
    I changed the name of my blog and made a mistake. I named it mademoisellemylene, when i wanted to create a new blog named like this and not change the name of the actual one.
    I would like to take my older name back (sosmylene) and create a new blog with my actual name (mademoisellemyene) but I really dont find how to do it !
    How can i rename the actual blog as it once was (sosmylene) and create a new blog with my actual name (mademoisellemylene) ?
    Sorry for the mistakes Im french.

    Hi there:

    When you change the URL of your blog, it is a permanent change which is why you don’t see any settings to revert that change.

    What you’ll need to do is to export your content from mademoisellemylene.wordpress.com and import it into the now blank sosmylene.wordpress.com site. Here’s some instructions on how to do that here:

    Then you can empty the content on mademoisellemylene.wordpress.com by following the steps here.

    NOTE: Make sure you have all your content transferred to sosmylene.wordpress.com before you do this or your content may be lost.

    Thanks a lot for the informations you gave me.
    The problem is that I cant take back the old name SOSMYLENE. Its written that the blog was deleted, when I just renamed it Mademoisellemylene (I never deleted the blog, it just has a new name)
    I would like to rename my blog as it was, sosmylene, but its written that I cant, because the name “sosmylene” is given to a deleted blog.
    Is there any way to resolve this, or should I just forget the idea to take my older name back ?
    I cant even create a new blog with the older name, because it says that there was a blog named like this that was deleted. And I cant fill the helping center’s formular made for deleted accounts, because it says that I should click on “Forgotten password”, and when i do it, it says that the blog was deleted.

    When you change the name of your blog, the old address becomes unavailable forever.
    However, the site sosmylene.wordpress.com can still be accessed directly from your account:
    https://wordpress.com/home/sosmylene.wordpress.com.

    Is that the address you were looking to use?

    If so, as helper-heroponriki mentioned above, you will need to export the content from the other site and import it to this one.
