  I wanted to create a different and separate blog page. WIll the new page be linked to the old one?

  If you were to just create a new blog page from your dashboard that is associated with that site, it will be its own post, but it will still be accessible from that site title.
  However, what I picking up from your question, is that you would like to create a new separate one altogether? In that case, there are no limits to the amount of WordPress.com sites/blogs you can have, and you can check out how to create your new blog here.
