New page created for each Media on my Library

    Hello everyone!

    I recently noticed the following:
    – All the media from my library are available online through pages I never created. The addesses are ‘https://mywebsite.com/nameofthemedia/’.
    – I can navigate from one media to another (<span class=’meta-nav’>←</span> PreviousNext <span class=’meta-nav’>→</span>), as if I was visiting the library, and let comments.
    – Before each media I can read the following text: ‘Published <span class=’entry-date’><time class=’entry-date’ datetime=’XXX’>XXX</time></span> at 221 × 63 in mywebsite

I would like to delete these automatic pages but without deleting my media, which are used on real pages on the website.

Would you have any idea how I could do so?

    Thanks,
    Megane

    Hi there,

It’s not possible to delete these. They’re not really easily accessible, unless you want them to be.

For example, when you insert an image into a post or page, you’ll see an option to link it to an attachment page, or elsewhere. So long as you don’t choose ‘attachment page’, users are unlikely to roam those pages.
