New page not showing in options to add to navigation menu (Hestia theme, Elementor)

  When I make a new page, I have the worst time trying to add it to my navigation menu. I typically duplicate an existing page to create a new one, because adding a new one through any other method, then trying to edit with Elementor, seems to mess up the heading on the new page. So I duplicate it.

  The problem is that when I go into Customize on WordPress to add the new page to my navigation menu, the new page isn’t there to add to the menu. I tried doing it through adding a custom link instead of a page, and it comes up as a dead button with a red slash when I hover over it.

  I’ve tried looking up this issue online but can’t seem to find a solution, except trying to deactivate all my plugins to see if one of them is causing the problem. But that would probably break my site, and I’m not savvy enough to try too much by myself. Please help!
