New page with separate category?

  I want to add a new page to my food blog, which page will be for local restaurant reviews. I would like the posts on that page to somehow appear in a separate “Latest Posts” widget in the sidebar, and not just mixed in with all of the blog posts. Is this possible? Thanks!

  You could use a custom menu widget to display the posts tagged “restaurant reviews” using a link like this:
  http://foodergolove.com/tag/restaurant-reviews/
  For that matter, you could use that tag-link as a tab in your menu.
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/custom-menu-widget/
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/

  (edited to say that you must add the tag “restaurant reviews” to the posts first, in order for the link to work.)

  If you have a lot of “restaurant reviews” then you might prefer to have them listed on a regular page. Take a look at post by post shortcode:

  Melody, that is a very good point — thank you. So, my blog is basically about how food demonstrates love and brings people together. Do you think adding a section for local restaurant reviews would be too off-topic? Should I make another blog for that? Thanks for the advice everyone!
