New page won't save under submenu

  I have created a new page and when I add it to the main menu, it won’t save as a submenu location.

  ie
  Main Menu – Books
  add a new book page “Dick & Jayne Companion Guide” to appear as a submenu

  It physically will appear under the submenu and when I click save, it pops back into place as main menu item.

  I’ve tried numbering the page, indicating Books is a parent page, etc. All sorts of things. Not working.

  Can anyone help?

  I checked http://peppurchambers.com/ just now and I see that the submenu “Dick & Jayne Get A Life Companion Guide” appears under “Books” now.

  I’m interested to know how you figured out how to fix it if you have time to post a reply in the forums to let us know.
