NEW PAGES & POSTING
-
Okay, so my blog is at http://www.thepurplestonechild.wordpress.com.
I started it yesterday, and posted a few times. Then today, I created several pages (like ‘Fashion,’ ‘Music,’ and ‘Art.’) to sort things out a bit. But I can’t figure out how to get posts into that page. I also tried making Categories with the same exact names as the Pages have, but that didn’t do anything.
So, I need help on finding out how to post NEW posts on each page, and putting pre-made posts on each page. I really appreciate any help! Thank you!

Pages you create are for static content and sit outside the blog structure. You cannot put “posts” on them. http://support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
Use categories to organize your posts and then people can click on the category names in the categories widget to get listings of only the posts in that category.

That widget is in your sidebar right now, in fact it is the only widget in your sidebar.
-
On the theme you are using, you can also use the trick outlined in this blog post to turn tabs on the top of your blog into links to your categories if you wish: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2009/03/26/page-tabs-as-external-links/ .

Seems to me if people want to add post to new pages, you might consider creating a way for it to work.

@mythrider, categories ARE the way. If you find blogs that seem to have separate posting pages on them on different subjects, or by different authors, they are using categories to do that (or in the case of authors they might use links to the individual author archives pages).
