New Pages not showing up on published site

I have added a page to my blog, and I can go to it on the site. It states that it’s published. But when I go to my blog site directly, it does not show up anywhere in the sidebars. Others have had this problem in the past from what I can see online. But I have no idea how to code and am not going to try at this point. WordPress says all I have to do is type and publish — that is not what is happening. Advice? Thanks!
