New password

I am trying to change my password as I have forgotten it, but the reset email is taking a good 30 minutes to come through so that means the link expires by the time it gets to me. I really need to access my WordPress as I have to do a blog post and change the theme. Today is the only day I can get things done as no children about

Sorry to hear that you’re having trouble.
Your email from WordPress may have landed in your spam/junk folder. It’s worth checking in there!
I would also double-check that you are looking in the right email that you have registered with WordPress. Sometimes users have multiple emails and forget which one is linked with their WP account!

I assume you’re using the lost password form at https://en.wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=lostpassword . Is that right?
It could be that the email is being sent in a timely manner, but your mail program isn’t downloading it. After you’ve input your email address to recover your password, refresh your inbox on your mail program every couple of minutes. That may get you to the email faster.
