New phone number – two-step authentication

  I got a new phone number in November 2019, and had forgotten that I have two-step authentication on my WordPress blog so I didn’t think to move it before I changed my number. I don’t have any backup codes.

  I need help to disable the two-step authentication from my old number so I can activate it to my new number. I can still log-in to my account and update my blog, but I discovered the problem when I tried to log in from my tablet and it prompted me for a code from my old phone number.

  Help, please.

  If you lose your device, accidentally remove the authenticator app, or are otherwise locked out of your account, the only way to get back in to your account is by using a Backup Code, https://en.support.wordpress.com/security/two-step-authentication/

  Unfortunately, I don’t have a back-up code.

  Is there no other way?
