New photo-blogging theme please…

I am a first time blogger and run a photo-blog with the theme duotone. The theme is clean, uncluttered and the widget options are good. Only problem is that the automatic background colour generated makes the post so unappealing at times. WordPress frequently comes out with a new theme for regular word format blogs. It would be really nice if wordpress comes up with a new photo-blogging theme that is simple, aesthetic and loaded with features.

Many wordpress.com themes are being used for photoblogging. I suggest that you check out the new Wu Wei theme and the Structure theme. Also which specific features are you expecting a theme to be “loaded” with?

I tried structure and Wu Wei themes. Instead of the posts displaying one after the other they are all displayed in a single lengthy page..am I missing out something? It would be nice if a photo blog theme has custom header option and option to display or hide the Exif data.

All blogs have only one running page on which posts are automatically displayed in reverse chronological order with the most recent post on top immediately after publication. (they are also automatically posts to the Archives and to the Categories pages that you assigned them too).

@timethief: thanks for your suggestions. I am now trying to use the theme structure. finding it a bit difficult to align the theme options but should be able to do it as most of the queries are already solved.
@thesacredpath: never new about this option until you told…it did help to solve the problem.
