New pingback waiting approval on Life4Living

  Hi,
  After publishing a couple of posts, Im receiving email with message ‘New pingback waiting approval on Life4Living’ What does it mean and what action do I need to take?

  Pls help.

  Hi there,

  It means someone else published a post that contains a link back to your post. Pingbacks also happen when you link back to older posts on your own site.

  If you click on the Notifications icon top-right, you’ll also see the pingback there. If you approve it, it will appear as a comment on your own post, linking back to the post of the person who linked to you.

  If you don’t want a link back to that person’s post to appear on your site, just delete the pingback, instead of approving it.
