  Hello,

  I am trying to add a plugin but every time I search for the one I want, it only searches my current plugins. Can you please send me a screen show of where to do this?

  Hi there,

  Are you trying to add a plugin on this site – janbara.wordpress.com?

  If yes, then I’m sorry to say that custom plugins aren’t allowed on sites hosted on WordPress.com

  But I feel you’re talking about a different self hosted site. If that’s the case you have to go to Plugins > Add new and then search for a plugin.

  Side note – WordPress.com and WordPress.org are a bit different. So if you’re looking for WordPress.org support, please use the forums located here – https://wordpress.org/support
