  why can’t i upload or use a free plugins in my free blog ?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Installing third-party plugins is only possible with a WordPress.com Business plan or a self-hosted WordPress site.

  Unless you have a wordpress.COM hosted site with a Business plan https://wordpress.com/pricing/ you cannot install any plugins in addition to those that are built in to all of our sites. https://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/

  There is no FTP access to wordpress.COM hosted sites.

  Hi there,

  Sorry about the overlap but I do want you to know that I multitask when answering questions here so when I post a short yes or no type of response or one like the one I posted above, it will always be followed by a complete response soon after the first one. :) I also avoid getting into a discussion about the security and safety reasons for no FTP access to multi-user sites like WordPress.COM.
