New post appears in Feb archive but not on site

I’ve been trying all afternoon to put up a new post. The dashboard says it’s published, but it doesn’t appear at the top of my blog. It DOES show up in the archive, dated today. Help.

Since I’m signing off soon, I’ll assume that you have a blog here at wordpress.COM and say that more than likely the reason your posts are not in reverse chronological order (newest at top) is because the posts that are showing up at the top have all been set as “sticky” posts, which means they will stay at the top until you “unstick” them.
Open each post in the post editor, and in the “publish” box at the right, click on the “edit” link to the right of “visibility” and deselect the “sticky” post option, click OK, and then click “update post.” Do that for all post until you either run out of posts, or get to one that is not set as a sticky post.

I have the same problem, my posts don’t show up when I click on the categories I put them in, instead it comes up with the archive for that category. http://ghostygeezer.wordpress.com/category/photography/

That’s a feature of Chaotic Soul to display only the titles of the posts in a category or tag page. Or even in actual archives. The titles are clickable so your readers will find the posts. Some themes show custom excerpts, some show whole posts in
