New post editing problem

I cant seem to be able to edit any posts. I can create them in Quick Edit and save them but trying to edit them later results in a blank page.

Thanks for coming back with that info.
When you say you are in Quick Edit, what dashboard page are you on? I know there is a Quick Draft module in the WP Admin’s home page. /wp-admin/index.php
As far as the blank page, have you tried logging out of WordPress.com and then clearing your browser’s cache and cookies?
If these suggestions don’t solve the issue for you, please post back here and let us know what device, browser and OS you are using to access your WordPress.com site. Thanks.

Apologies, yes it’s Quick Draft that I tend to use initially – from WP Admin. I’ve logged out then cleared my cache and cookies. I logged back in and have the same problem. So, I use an iPad, Safari and I think the OS is 9.3.5

Again, thanks for providing that information. So you’re able to write a post in the Quick Draft in WP Admin, but when you open the posts to edit them, they’re blank.

It would be good to test if this happens in another browser. Are you able to try Firefox, Chrome, or other?

Hi, thanks for getting back to me.
I have just looked to download another browser for my iPad. Due to the age of my iPad (I think) I cannot download Firefox or Chrome – ‘incompatible’ messages appear when I try. So I found Dolphin which does download. I then signed into WordPress from Dolphin and sadly still have the same problem, in that I when I try to edit a post a blank page appears. Just before the blank page appears, I see a message ‘Rich Mobile Publishing’ …it disappears instantly but thought I should mention it.
I don’t use any other device for my blog, never have.
Is there anything else I can try?

Just a thought, have you tried to write a draft post directly in the Post Editor rather than using the Quick Draft module in WP Admin?
Also, iOS 9.3.5 is very old; is there any way you can update it?

Yes, I did try writing a post directly as you’ve said. No luck.
Unforunately I can’t upgrade my OS any more, my iPad being quite old – 7 years possibly.
I feel the options may be running out – it’s a shame devices but I my device has become obsolete and needs replacing sooner than I hoped.
