  It seems like, in the new post editor, you can’t change the “published on” date. Am I missing something or not?

  I understand it is slightly misleading but you can change the “published on” using following steps:

  1. Click on Change Status dropdown to the left.
  2. Select Scheduled radio button
  3. Click in the date text box
  4. Pick new date in the date picker.
  5. Click the blue Schedule button to the lower right corner of the page.
