New post email to followers

Hello,
Could somebody advise me, if it is possible for the following:
When people follow my blogs and would like emails notifications for every new post. I am able to customise the email that is sent to them, so it does not include pictures, or does not include the full post?

Unfortunately, WordPress.COM does not allow for customization of WordPress.COM emails.
WordPress.ORG however does allow for plugins such as MailPoet that do all for custom emails. Though, in order to use WordPress.ORG software it would require either self-hosting OR a hosting service that uses it (such as GoDaddy).

Assuming that you are talking about a WordPress.com site, here are some options:
In order not to send your entire post but only a summary, you’ll need to set your Feed settings under Settings>Reading> to Summary. See here for instructions: http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/reading-settings/#general-settings
While you cannot use plugins here on WordPress.com, many users opt to use MailChimp instead. We may not be able to use the plugin, or embed the signup form directly on WPcom, but we can link to the sign up form on MailChimp. If it wasn’t clear, the top option is using WPcom’s email notifications and has nothing to do with MailChimp.
