New post is a blank page

Hi,
When I click on Create new post or Edit post, it comes up with a blank page. I tried deleting cache and cookies in both Chrome and Firefox browser, but nothing seems to work. Please let me know how to resolve this issue.

Hi @anjali1525, typically when we see this, it is a cache issue. If you’ve tried two browsers, clearing cache in both, it’s got to be another issue.
What kind of computer or phone are you using, and do you have any settings that could be blocking scripts?
Do you have access to another computer or phone where you could test to see if you have trouble there?

I’m using a Dell laptop with Ubuntu 14.04.6 LTS. I have disabled ad-blockers, and I don’t have any other blocking scripts running.
On android and mac it is working but not on my laptop with Ubuntu.
Also, I updated both Chrome and Firefox, restarted and I’m still facing the same problem. Is there anything else I can do so that it works on this system?

Would you please try with all browser extensions and add-ons disabled?
If the problem goes away, re-activate each until you find the one causing the problem.

I disabled all the browser extensions and add-ons, but it still does no work. Tried in both the browsers and in incognito mode as well. -
Got it — that’s older version of Ubuntu, right? Can you confirm what browser versions you’re using? Also, did this just recently stop working on that platform?

Yeah, it’s an older version of Ubuntu however WordPress was working fine including creating / editing new posts till 10-15 days back. Since then now it just shows a blank page for new / edit post. Other things like statistics etc is still working fine.
Following are the version details of the browsers:
* Firefox – Firefox Quantum 66.0.3 (64-bit)
* Chromium – Version 65.0.3325.181 (Official Build) Built on Ubuntu , running on Ubuntu 14.04 (64-bit) -
Ah ok, that would be a problem.
We can only guarantee compatibility with the latest version of browsers and one version back.
So, for Firefox that would be 90 and 89, and for Chrome/Chromium that would be 91 and 90.
Are you able to update those browsers, or try a different browser? https://browsehappy.com/

I upgraded both the browsers to latest version and now it is working fine. Thanks a lot for your help!
