New post menu doesn't display or work correctly

  I have a Mac. Menu doesn’t properly display when I try to do a new post. Inserting a link doesn’t work either anymore. The menu doesn’t have icons anymore. Instead, little hollow gray squares appear in their place.

  It looks like you may be using an old version of Safari. Can you check that you’re using the latest version by visiting this site:

  https://www.whatismybrowser.com/

  You may want to try another browser such as Firefox or Chrome if you’re unable to update your browser.

  Shawna, thanks for responding! I didn’t even notice I got your response until this morning. Yes, I’m using an old version of Safari . . . version 4.1.3 with OS X 10.4.11. It’s a Mac Mini from 2006. The problem I have trying a different browser is there are very few modern ones that work with an OS X version that old. And the ones I’ve tried–iPab and TenFoxFour–have the same issues.

  But, I would like to point out I had no problems with WordPress on my Mac until last Sunday. I’ve had my blogs for 6 months, no problems. Then, all of the sudden, problems. The perplexing part is my Dashboard is the only place I go on the Internet where I have any icon issues. My Safari browser works fine except for my WordPress Dashboard.
