New post not appearing

Two days ago I composed, previewed, and posted a new post on my blog (http://onlinealchemy.wordpress.com). The post status shows as “Published” with “Public” visibility on my dashboard. I can edit and update the post, but it does not appear on my main page. I can even see the post by its URL + slug title (see http://onlinealchemy.wordpress.com/wait-for-it/). However, when I go to the blog main page the post does not show up. It doesn’t show up in my drafts or anywhere else I can see on the Dashboard.
I have verified this in both Chrome and IE, FWIW – the blog is there, but this post is not.

Wait for it looks like a Page and not a Post – so Wait For It will never appear with your Posts – Copy everything from Wait For It and past into a new Post – Publish then delete the PAGE Wait for it –

Thanks, you are correct. I must have started this by clicking on “New Page” on the Dashboard, as this same drop-down control sometimes appears as “New Post” — I just noticed it’s not always “New Post.” The resulting page UI for creating a Page and a Post are identical, so I didn’t even notice the difference.

hi, each time I create a new post- and I’m very certain its a post and not a page, it isn’t appearing. I sent a message to support the last time this happened, but its unreasonable to do this each time I create a post.
Is there a known bug? Are other people having this issue?

We can’t help you without a link to the blog, starting with http, and the title of the post that didn’t show up. Also: can you see it on your Dashboard? And if so, what’s its status?
