New post not appearing in Home page

  I just published a new post. Though it appears on its separate page, it does not appear on the Home page, as the latest one right at the top. I can see that it doesn’t figure on the Recent Posts or Categories widget too. What’s the problem?

  I had mistakenly put a future date!
