New post, not edit

When I click edit on sight for an already published post, why do I get a new post??? This only occurs on regular posts, not on pages????
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there. If you click the Edit button on your site itself it now takes you to the new editor (beeb beeb boop) and it is currently a bit buggy.
At the top of that editor there should be a link to the classic editor. If you click that link (and have cookies enabled in your browser) it should remember your preference and take you to the classic editor by default next time, but it’s apparently not working for everyone.
You can also take the longer route by going to your dashboard and clicking on Posts ->All Posts ->Edit to edit existing posts.

OK, it’s a bit buggy. :-) The other ways around it I found out myself, but thanks a lot for your help!

The funny thing is that today (28th of August) everything works as it should. When I click the edit text it takes me – beep beep boop – to the new editor but not to a new post but to the one that I want to edit! :-) Great!

They rolled out some fixes yesterday. It was announced in the thread I linked above. Glad it’s working for you now.
