New post not listed under topic

  Hi

  I published a new blog post, and tagged with ‘photography’, however it never appeared in the Reader page for new posts under the topic for ‘Photography’.

  Can you help please, am I missing out on readers?

  Hi there,
  Your username is linked to an email address and not your blog. No URL for a blog will ever contain this @ as it only appears in email addresses. This is the correct link for your blog http://andreavassphotography.com/ Here’s how to link your username to your blog in your blog Dashboard -> Users -> Personal Settings -> then scroll down to Account Details. Then scroll down to where it says ‘Primary Blog‘ select the URL for your primary wordpress.com blog and then save changes.

  Now every time you sign into the forum we can all click on your username and your blog will be linked to it. And every time you leave a comment on a blog your username can be likewise clicked and your blog can be instantly located.

  The reasons for non-appearance of posts include using a combined total of over 15 Categories and Tags and that’s what your porblem is. http://en.support.wordpress.com/topics/#missing-posts Edit your post, reduce that number and click “update”.http://en.support.wordpress.com/posts/edit-posts-screen/ It may take some time for the system to recognize the update but when it does the post will appear under it’s original date stamp on the date of original publication.

  You’re welcome. Note it’s the combined total of both categories and tags you need to keep under 15 in number. Less is more when it comes to catgeories and tagging yet there are those who perversley profess the opposite and lead beginners astray. Do not assign any tag of category that is not 100% relevant to the content in any post. Also know that search spiders are focused on the keywords in your content and not in your categories and tags. They COUGH when keywords in Categories and Tags cannot be found in the content of the post. Best wishes with your blog.
