New Post not sent to followers

  I know because I follow my own blog just to check this. A new post is not loaded properly when I clicked Publish and therefore does not show up on my Reader. What can I do now and how do I avoid this from happening in the future. This is not the first time.

  I’ll tag this thread for Staff assistance. Will you please provide a couple of usernames for those WordPress.com bloggers who did not receive the emails as well as a couple of email addresses for those who do not have WordPress.com accounts? The software will redact ie. HIDE the email addresses so only Staff can see them. After you do that subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

  I don’t know about email subscribers. I only know my own Reader page doesn’t have my newest post on it. (I subscribe to my own blog posts) This is not the first time. The glitch started when I was clicking the “Publish” button, and the page goes to the elaborate Edit Page, the page where usually on the left indicates this is your __th post, and listed are the tags, and a statement saying your post has been sent to ___ followers. And on the right is my new post. But this Edit Page failed to load. Thanks for contacting staff for me.

  I’ll be glad to contact support staff myself, which I used to be able to do but now can’t find the button to send. So have to use the Forum.

  I followed your blog before O posted above and instantly your posts appeared in my Reader. I then unfollowed your blog. Maybe you have some other kind of issue.

  In my new post, there is no tab present for making comments. Why is this not showing? For the other posts, the comments tab is there. I use Chalkboard theme for my blog.

  Can anyone please illuminate me on this?

  Edit the post and see if you accidentally picked “Comments Off” on that post.

  Hi Arti,

  Can you give me a link to one of the posts that you don’t see in your Reader? I can take a closer look at it for you.

  Also, can you please make a screenshot of what you see on the screen after you click the Publish button on a post? You can upload screenshots to your Media Library under Media > Add New in your dashboard, or you can use an online service like Snaggy.
