New post not showing in Reader

It’s neither appearing under the blogs i’m following nor under the categories or tags…
Until now I had no issues, and the number of tags is <15
Can you please check what is the issue?

Do any of those reasons for non-appearance apply to any of your posts?
If none apply to none of your posts then (1) provide the URL of the post your refer to please, and (2) go to the sidebar of this thread and type modlook for Staff attention into the tags. Then wait patiently for Staff to assist you.

wait, it’s there, but shows as published 13 hours ago, while it was published just over an hour ago??

Did you create the draft 13 hours ago?
Did you set your blog to your own timezone? You can reset your date and timezone on your blog to reflect the timezone you actually live in. The default timezone is UTC time. You can reset your timezone here > Settings > General
Select the closest city to you in the same timezone you live in in the drop-down menu you see there and then click “save changes”. -
the blog time zone is fine, I mean, it has always been the same and it worked fine. London is UTC anyway.
I created the draft hours ago (may be 13 hrs), but it should take the time of when it’s published? Otherwise it’s pointless, think if I create a draft days in advance…
How can I get it to show in the right time of publishing?

I took a look in the Reader and I see your post. Could you please check again? Otherwise please try clearing out your browser cache.
and now it’s showing 0 followers when there are over 100…?
Where do you see this exactly?

The followers issue resolved by itself, no clue what caused it, maybe the front end couldn’t get a connection to your back end.

a last question:
is there a way to avoid the post being published under the date/time of when the editing first started? that’s what caused my issue -
The post date equals the date when you published the post. If you edit afterwards it will still keep that publish date.

i started editing the post yesterday around lunch time, then completed and published just before midnight.
But the date/time it took (automatically) was that of when I created the post (and it was unpublished)…..
why that? -

because my post in the WP editor showed a time around midday after I published it.
At first, I hadn’t noticed that.
But when I was investigating why the post wasn’t appearing in the Reader, then I noticed that it was showing but much earlier, as if it had been published at lunch time! At that point I looked at the date shown in the editor and it was that of when I created the post (but not publishing it).
At that point, I edited the time manually to 23:59 as you see now -
I see. Since the date/time has been changed I can’t check the original publish date of the post. However, posts should appear in the reader at the time when they are published.
Please let us know if you encounter any other issues in the future!

Hello.
My posts are not appearing in reader, and this has been going on for a couple of months. I do not see any issues with too many tags, or any other issues listed at #missing-posts.
I have cleared the browser cache on many occasions. I have logged out then in numerous times. I have tried to upload posts from a different browser.
So, I’m at a loss. Can someone tell me what else to try?
