New Post not showing up in Reader?

Can someone please help me? I put a lot of time/effort into this latest humor post and it’s not showing up in the Reader anywhere. Not for people who follow me (I checked) and not under any of the tag categories. Thanks if anyone can trouble shoot!

I locate the post under the body image tag http://wordpress.com/tag/body-image/ and I assume it’s under the others too.Posts are listed in order of datestamps and timestamps and the common ie. popular categories/tags fill up very quickly.

Thanks TT! But the few comments that are being left all say that it’s not in their personal Reader of blogs they follow (they only found out about it from direct email?) and it’s not in my own Reader either like it normally is. Yeah I follow myself! I do hope it can be remedied? Thank you for always answering these things!

I’ve just checked those links you sent, and I agree with Timethief that your posts are appearing properly. Did you click “Press This” after viewing your post, or have you configured your posts to do this automatically?

Hi Rennickd– It’s always done it automatically. But what about the fact that it’s not appearing in the Reader of those who personally follow me? I’ve been asking people to check and they all say no. They state my post before this one is the last thing in their readers by me. Also I can tell by the amount of views it’s gotten- (substantially lower than normal) so something seems like it’s not the same as it usually is. TimeThief–you follow me, I believe. Is my stuff usually in your Reader and is there there today?

Ps…. Also odd is when I follow the link TimeThief gives under Body Image tag (above) I do find it there but with a noted 17 hrs ago post time? I only posted it five hours ago?

Ok! Update. I just scrolled way back in my Personal Reader and I find it also sitting there with a time stamp of 17 hrs ago! It somehow jumped in back before the other blog posts of people I closely follow that I had already read (and therefore had already posted!) before I ever even wrote mine! Very strange happening. So I guess unless people intentionally scroll back to yesterday’s stuff, it won’t readily surface. Even though I published a mere five hrs ago? Odd!

It sounds like an error occurred during your original post upload, (a session timeout) after the post successfully loaded, and before your additional automated commands completed execution.
I suggest posting an additional (short) piece, to see if the same error occurs again, or copying and pasting the post to a fresh “New Post” window (with slightly different title), to see if this was a fluke occurrence.
If it works the second time, you can just delete the older post and call it a fluke. If it happens again, it will indicate a change in your settings.

Hi again — yes after I posted my last comment here I reblogged the post with a new remark and it’s at the top of my own Reader now. The only thing I can think of is it WAS about 17 hrs ago when I made a few rough notes on and saved it as a draft. I then reopened it today to continue….But I always thought when you clicked “publish” that was your time stamp?

Glad to hear things are running smoothly, there are times I click “Publish”, and Firefox or even my ISP will fail to run properly, after working on a page for a few minutes. Now I copy the body of the text before I click on “Publish”, just to play it safe. Then if it fails to load, I can at least paste the body onto a new page.

My posts aren’t showing up either for a few days now. When I noticed it, I edited down my tags for fear that that was the problem, but it is still not resolved as of my last post about 12 hours ago. The website I’m having trouble with is momarchsteph.wordpress.com Thanks!
