New post notice to subscribers, but not including new post content

  Is there a way for me to setup my blog so that subscribers can receive their notice that I’ve published a new post, but for that notice to not include the entire new post content?

  As it works now, my subscribers receive the content of the new post in their notification email. They then read the email, but most subscribers don’t bother to visit the blog after that.

  What I’d like is for subscribers to be notified of a new post, but they would then need to visit the blog to see the entire new post.

  It’s disconcerting to see my stats read zero visits, when I know people are just reading the notice emails.

  dashboard—>settings—>select summary—>save changes
