  Can I change the way notifications of new posts are sent

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Karen, The only control you have is whether your followers receive the full text or a summary of your latest post.

  Your email notifications are derived from your RSS Feed, so if you go to Settings → Reading, you can adjust the setting: “For each article in a feed, show.” Save your changes.

  Let me know what else you were hoping to adjust with your notifications.

  Thanks, I went in and looked at that page and made a few adjustments. I had been hoping that a photo could be sent with the new post notifications, but I guess that’s not possible.

  Thanks for letting me know.

  In the future, if it’s important to add images, you can look into a free service like MailChimp. This type of email service will allow you to build your own email list, and send out post notifications in the format you’d like. Here are some instructions on how to set up a Mailchimp form:

  It will take more work to maintain, of course, but you’ll have more control over the look of your emails.
