'New Post' page layout version changed overnight, how to restore older version?

    I was disconcerted this morning when I tried to create a new post to be meet by an opening screen saying ‘beep, beep’ boop’ and then a much simplified new version of the new post page in blue appeared. I received no notification of this change from WordPress nor the option to choose or reject it. I want to restore my old black and very detailed screen. Can you please change it or tell me what to do to restore my old screen?

    Hi there,

    Thanks for the feedback. We did update quite a few links to point to our new editor recently. However, please keep in mind that the old editor is still available by going directly into your Dashboard > Posts > Add new.
