New post screen configuration

  I don’t like the new post screen configuration for writing a blog. Why is the screen for creating the blog at the bottom of the page, and why are we only allowed to see 4 lines at a time?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there. The text box at the bottom is a bug and they’re working on it. You can subscribe to this thread so you’ll be notified when it’s fixed: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/topic/layout-of-the-post-is-messed-up?replies=9

  You might want to try the classic editor instead. To use that editor go to the WP-Admin dashboard (http://vickiannclarke.wordpress.com/wp-admin/) and click on Posts ->Add New to create a new post.

  Thank you, much better, I was using the pencil icon on the top right of the tool bar to get to new post.

  May I provide some more information?

  To use the classic editor to create posts like I do, go to Dashboard > Posts > Add New
  Here is the model so you can see the format

  Here is the link to the page on your blog
  http://vickiannclarke.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

  Note that you can bookmark that link.

  To use the classic editor when you edit posts like I do, use the Posts -> All Posts menu, hover over the post title and click the Edit link.

  The new post screen is the worst I have ever encountered.I can’t put in the title of my blog.I can’t put it in italics to write my blog and it always says oops an error occurred,refresh and try again after I have finished my blog and click the publish link.The old screen was the best.Go back to it and get rid of this one asap.

  Both timethief and I have given instructions above on how to use the classic editor if you don’t want to use the new one. But staff have made it clear the new editor is here to stay. There’s nothing we can do about it.
