New post screen malfunctions a lot

  When writing a new post, check boxes don’t always align with my cursor. When I try to click links (like to insert a photo into a post) I get an Avira ad in a new tab instead of the picture being inserted. Tonight, I can’t click in the field to type in tags.
  My OS is Windows 7 64 bit. My browser is Chrome.

  Hi there,

  The Avira ad you mentioned isn’t coming from WordPress.com. Do you have an Avira extension installed in Chrome or the Avira Antivirus software installed on your computer? That could be causing the problems you see on the new post screen.

  I do have an Avira extension. Should I try disabling it when I’m having issues?
  What about the misalignment on the New Post page? Like I said, sometimes I can’t click in check box or text fields. Or I have to click to the left or underneath to click in the right place. Any ideas?

  Can you please try disabling the Avira extension now, to see if it resolves all of the issues you’re seeing?

  If disabling the extension doesn’t fix the misalignment and trouble clicking check boxes and text fields, please let me know and I can help troubleshoot those issues separately. I just want to make sure they aren’t all related to that extension. :)
