New posting format

  So is there no way to go back to the old Post editor anymore? I hate the new version. Now when I go to add a new post from the Administrator it’s giving me the god-awful new one.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Tom,

  You can use this link to start a new post on your site in the classic editor:

  https://digitalshortbread.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php

  To get there from https://wordpress.com/ you can click on “My Sites” in the upper left, and then click on “WP Admin” in the sidebar to open the classic WP Admin dashboard. You can view your existing posts under Posts > All Posts and start a new post under Posts > Add New.

  Also, if you can share specific things that don’t work well for you in the new editor, I’d be happy to share that feedback with our team!

  Thanks. Is this something that has just changed? I used to be able to access the 'Classic' post editor straight from the main/home page of my blog. Now I will have to go into the Administrator to do this??????

  Hi Tom,

  Yes, the links you find in the admin bar when you’re looking at your blog are now directed to the newer WordPress.com dashboard and editor. However, there are currently no plans to remove the older WP Admin dashboard, so you’re welcome to go there specifically if you’d like to use the classic post editor and other WP Admin dashboard features.
